Orangutan Odysseys is proud to be in partnership with the Australian Orangutan Project (AOP). By creating this partnership we are able to help raise money which is directed to the urgent and appropriate places that are in most need of support. The AOP are able to spread this money out to a number of Orangutan Care Centres & Projects across Borneo & Sumatra - through their adoption process of the young orphaned Orangutans, also through their Safeguard Programme that allow people to purchase hectares of Rainforest that will raise money specifically for Orangutan PAOPLogo90x68mm300dpirotection Units. Your donation goes towards the patrols’ running costs - equipment, uniforms and wages, or purely by just donating any money to them, it all helps. The AOP having joined forces with OO and they now will have a dedicated and passionate Travel Operator available to them, and anyone interested in heading to Indonesia to see the Orangutans. The AOP and OO will continue to work together to raise awareness and the much needed funds that are required to help save the two Orangutans species from extinction.
